Nike continued the full length Air unit with the Air Max 2003, but completely eliminated the polyurethane from the shoe. The Air Max 2003 is the first customizable Air Max to show up on the NikeiD website.

As part of their Spring/Summer 2009 collection, Nike is slated to release this pair of air max. Look for them now but expect to pay the hefty price of $190.

The Air unit went full length in 1997.
